CRM Overview
Customer Data & Relationship Management
The Customer Data & Relationship Manager is a powerful yet user-friendly feature that lets businesses map their customer data and define the relationships between it directly inside the Uniconnect AI platform. It manages customer information through a modular, structured architecture, keeping that data consistent, clear, and easy to access as an organization grows.
By maintaining interconnected relationships across modules, the platform gives organizations enhanced visibility into customer information and the business activity tied to it, enabling deeper insight and more informed decisions at every level of the business.
Because module and relationship configuration are both flexible, organizations structure customer data and interactions around their own business requirements and industry needs, rather than being restricted to a fixed data model designed for someone else's business.
How It Works
Module Configuration
The Module Configurator lets a business create or modify modules such as Customers, Orders, Appointments, Cases, Assets, and Suppliers, shaped around exactly the data and processes that business needs to manage.
e.g.
CustomersOrdersCasesAssets
Relationship Configuration
Relationship Configuration defines how different modules connect, such as Customer ↔ Orders, Patient ↔ Appointments, and Client ↔ Service Requests, so related information stays connected, traceable, and accessible across the platform.
e.g.
Customer ↔ Orders
Field Configuration
Every module captures data through custom fields, chosen from thirteen field types, each with its own validation, required, unique, and read-only settings to match exactly what a record needs to store.
e.g.
TextEnumerationRelationship
Layout Configuration
The Layout Builder arranges a module's fields into sections, tables, tabs, and accordions through drag-and-drop, controlling how a record actually looks and reads to the person filling it in.
e.g.
Detail PageForm
Dependency Configuration
Dependency rules dynamically show, hide, or require a field based on the value of another field, keeping each form focused on only the questions that are actually relevant right now.
e.g.
Show if Status = Escalated
Industry Examples
The same module builder and relationship engine reshape themselves around whatever a business tracks, not the other way around.
| Industry | Modules | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 🛒 E-commerce | Customers Orders Products Payments Support Tickets | A customer's purchase history, payment status, returns, and support interactions all stay viewable through one connected record. |
| 🏦 Banking & Financial Services | Customers Facilities Payment Follow-ups Service Requests | Customer information, facility details, payment follow-ups, and service interactions stay in one unified view. |
| 🏥 Healthcare | Patients Appointments Medical Records Prescriptions Billing | Consultations, treatments, prescriptions, and billing all stay connected to the relevant patient profile. |
| 🏭 Manufacturing | Clients Quotations Sales Orders Production Jobs Deliveries | A connected view of the full business lifecycle, from inquiry and quotation through production, delivery, and after-sales support. |
Design Your Data. Define Your Relationships.
Uniconnect AI lets organizations configure data modules and define their relationships through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, making it straightforward to represent real-world business processes directly inside the platform. Whether the job is managing customer profiles, transactions, service records, or operational processes, an organization designs modules that match its own business requirements rather than adapting its business to someone else's schema.
Flexible field-level configuration lets users create custom fields to capture exactly the data each module needs. Fields organize into logical sections for clarity, and field dependencies dynamically control field visibility and data flow, so end users see only what's relevant to them — simplifying data entry and cutting unnecessary complexity out of the form.
Modules, fields, dependencies, and relationships can all be created and reconfigured to match both current and future business requirements, letting an organization's data structure evolve as its processes change, instead of requiring a rebuild every time the business does.
Once modules are defined, relationships connect their data for a comprehensive 360-degree customer view. The platform supports one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-one, and many-to-many relationship types, letting administrators use the Module Configurator to pick the type that accurately represents each real relationship. By combining a modular architecture with this kind of dynamic relationship mapping, Uniconnect AI turns what would otherwise be fragmented data into one unified, connected customer ecosystem.
From Data to Action
With Uniconnect AI Workflows, customer data and relationships become actionable rather than sitting as static records. Workflow automation performs actions based on configurable conditions, such as sending an email or message, triggering a third-party system, or executing a business process, so structured customer information drives automated action instead of waiting for someone to read it first.
📇 Structured CRM Data → ⚡ Workflow Automation → 🎯 Business Outcome
This is what makes the platform's operational efficiency and customer engagement improve together: better-connected data feeding directly into the actions built on top of it. See the Automations section for workflow configuration.
